• Citi Handlowy with a Central Securities Depository of Poland (KDPW S.A.) prize

  Citi Handlowy was awarded by the KDPW S.A. for its activities on the regulated market for its contributions to the development of the equities and fixed income market and high standards of service provided to clients. The recognition was awarded at the gala on the 30th anniversary of the KDPW Group.

• Citi Handlowy with the "ESG Eagles" recognition from the Rzeczpospolita daily

  The jury awarded equal participation of women and men in the management and supervisory board of Citi Handlowy. As one of the first companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, it equalized parities in the most important bodies of the bank. Jury also appreciated activities for equality and diversity, the activities of employee networks, including the Citi Women Network, Disability Network, Citi Pride, charity activities and joint sports activities as part of Live Well at Citi, and long-term activities for a more integrated society with the Polish Paralympic Committee. It was also indicated that the bank's pay gap ratio is at the level of 93 percent, and the bank's credit policy takes into account environmental and social factors in lending processes.

  For another year in a row, Citi Handlowy was awarded the title of Ethical Company by Puls Biznesu. The award promotes the principles of ethical business and distinguishes the best practices on the market. The awards are given to companies that can boast of an unblemished reputation, transparency of business activities, honesty and responsibility.

• The WELCOME! social project with distinction of the Diversity Charter Award

  The second edition of the WELCOME! supporting Polish and Ukrainian women, received a distinction in the Diversity Charter Awards 2023 competition for projects building diversity at work, awarded by the Responsible Business Forum. WELCOME! is a project supporting the professional development of women from Polish and Ukraine - in terms of effectively looking for a stable job, improving competences, building a network of mutual support and/or developing their own business. 308 women from Polish and Ukraine took part in this edition of the programme. The project was carried out by the Mamo Pracuj Foundation with the substantive and financial support of the Citi Handlowy Foundation and the Citi Foundation.

• Citi in Olsztyn with the Diamond Laurel of the Marshal of the Voivodeship

  The Diamond Laurel was awarded to Citi in Olsztyn for special merits in promoting Warmia and Mazury in Poland and abroad in 2023. The Laurels of the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship "The Best of the Best" is a plebiscite that selects the most committed ambassadors of the province.

• Citi Group with the title of Employer of the Year by "Gazeta Olsztynska"

  The Citi Group - Citi Handlowy and Citi Solutions Center - has been awarded the title of Employer of the Year 2023 by Gazeta Olsztynska. For nearly 25 years, Citi has been developing its operations in Olsztyn and is involved in projects and matters important to the local community.

• Citi Handlowy named Poland's Best Employers 2024 by Forbes magazine

  Citi Handlowy is among the companies awarded in the Forbes Employer Ranking of 2024. In the "Banks and Financial Services" category, it took 4th place. The ranking of the best employers in Poland has been prepared for the fourth time. According to the jury, the awarded institutions from people management in the atmosphere of crisis smoothly moved to operate in a market where technologies are growing in strength and the employee has more and more to say. The report covered several hundred of the best employers from 25 industries.

• Citi Handlowy Cash Loan on the podium in the Golden Banker competition

  In the Golden Banker competition, the third place went to Citi Handlowy. The Bank performed very well in the comparison of financing costs in almost all of the scenarios and achieved a great result in the area of process and e-service.

• Citi Handlowy named Climate Aware Company 2023

  As part of the Corporate Climate Crisis Awareness Study, the bank was awarded the title of Climate Aware Company 2023. It is a distinction of the Polish Association of Listed Companies for companies that are characterized by a high level of presentation of environmental issues.

• Rzeczpospolita's Employer 2023

  Citi in Poland – Citi Handlowy and Citi Solutions Center Poland – were awarded in the "Rzeczpospolita Employer" competition. The competition jury appreciated the bank's competitive remuneration policy. In the competition, attention was paid to real actions in dialogue with employees, distinguished by efficiency, commitment and creativity in the current economic situation.

• Citi Handlowy ranked 1st among listed companies in terms of diversity

  Citi Handlowy was ranked first among the largest companies in terms of diversity according to the report "Women in listed companies. Index of the Women Business Leaders Foundation". The Bank was the only company to exceed 100 points in the report's index. The report presents data on the share of women on the boards of all companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

  Citi Handlowy with the title of LinkedIn’s 2023 Top Companies for best businesses pursuing a career growth and development policy. The list is compiled based on parameters such as the stability of a company, diversity of its team or opportunities it offers its employees to develop their careers.

• Citi Handlowy with the highest score in the ranking of financial institutions that care about professional and social equality for LGBT+ community

  The ranking is part of the Cashless for Equality project, during which surveys are sent out to dozens of companies in the financial industry. Surveys include questions about initiatives supporting the LGBT+ community, such as anti-discrimination training or marketing and advertising activities. Citi Handlowy received the highest possible score of 100 points.

• Citi Handlowy among top 50 employers of the WPROST weekly

  Citi Handlowy again ranked as one of the 50 best employers. The financial industry is the largest group in the list, right after the commercial sector. According to the WPROST ranking, Citi Handlowy is one of the leaders among banks that care most about their employees. The ranking’s questions concerned the stability of the employer, including the number of employees and the number of employment contracts.

  In this year’s edition, the winner in the “efficiency” category was Citi Handlowy. The ranking takes into account financial data for 2022, responses to the innovation and detailed ESG survey, as well as more than a dozen detailed ratios. The jury’s evaluation also influences the bank’s position.

• Citi Handlowy’s private banking with the Best for Digital title in Euromoney international competition

  In the Euromoney Global Private Banking Awards 2023, the private banking offered by Citigold Private Client was awarded the title of Best for Digital Poland. The jury recognized the achievements in the development of the digital channel, such as the innovative Total Wealth Advisor tool and Citibank Global Wallet, as well as the security of clients and their assets.

• Citi Handlowy among “SuperEthical Companies”

  In an annual Puls Biznesu survey of corporate operating standards, Citi Handlowy confirms its consistent adherence to the highest ethical requirements. The Bank has been regularly awarded in the competition since its beginning. The Forum of SuperEthical companies consists of organizations that have been awarded the titles of Ethical Companies for three years in a row and can boast good reputation, transparency in business operations, honesty, responsibility and market trust in day-to-day business.

• Citi Handlowy honored with CSR White Leaf 2023 of POLITYKA weekly

  The Bank has been awarded the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) White Leaf 2023 of POLITYKA weekly for its implemented ESG activities. The CSR Leaf initiative is one of the oldest on the market. Companies are evaluated in terms of environmental, social and corporate governance. Ratings are awarded on the basis of surveys completed by companies. The surveys are developed in accordance with the standards for the basic principles of social responsibility of ISO 26000 and in relation to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards and the latest ESG trends.

• Diversity IN CHECK – Citi Handlowy among the leaders in diversity management

  Citi Handlowy and the Citibank Europe shared services center have been listed in the group of 38 companies recognized as the most advanced in diversity management, caring about inclusion in the organization and striving to achieve social cohesion.

  The list was created on the basis of the Diversity IN Check survey conducted by the Responsible Business Forum, which coordinates the Diversity Charter in Poland. The purpose of the survey is to diagnose the extent to which a given organization is advanced in diversity management and the creation of an inclusive work environment. The survey questionnaire is based on the established international standards and guidelines, such as: Sustainable Development Goals, ISO 26000 and ISO 30415 GRI Standards as well as OECD's Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

• Citi Handlowy tops rankings of Cash Management in Poland for the ninth time

  For the ninth time in a row Citi Handlowy topped the Cash Management ranking of Euromoney in the Market Leader category. With over 21,500 votes cast, persons responsible for finance management in companies assessed solutions of transaction banking. Citi Handlowy offers its corporate clients a wide range of advanced solutions of finance management. The bank focuses on developing tools facilitating instant response and real-time digital settlements.

• Seventh "Golden Banker" for Citi Handlowy in the "Best Credit Card" category

  For the seventh time in a row the Citibank-BP Motokarta credit card from Citi Handlowy has been selected as the best product on the market in its category in the ranking organized by Bankier.pl and Puls Biznesu. It is the only credit card submitted for the ranking with no issuance, maintenance and renewal fees. In addition, the bank offers a possibility to convert the debt into installments without commission.

• Citi Handlowy in Forbes ranking "Poland's Best Employers 2022"

  In the second edition of its "Poland's Best Employers 2022", Forbes has selected the winners – Poland's 300 most employee-friendly companies, by industry. Citi Handlowy is included in the category "The Best Employers. Banks and Financial Services".

• Citi Handlowy on the podium in the "Efficiency Stars" category by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna

  The indicators evaluated in the "Efficiency" category were the following: return on equity (ROE), level of interest and commission margin and risk costs. Citi Handlowy was ranked second in the category. As justified by the jury, this is a derivative of the bank's strategy – to focus on servicing companies, operating in financial markets and providing services to affluent customers.

• Citi Handlowy among perfect employers

  For the second time Citi Handlowy was listed in the WPROST weekly ranking of the 50 dream employers in Poland. Citi Handlowy was ranked the highest among commercial banks. It was appreciated not only for caring for employees and taking care of employment conditions, but also for supporting refugees from the Ukraine.

• Citi Handlowy's private banking recognized again in the international Euromoney survey

  The prestigious British magazine Euromoney awarded Citi Handlowy in the annual Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey of the quality of the private banking offer. For another year in a row, the bank was at the forefront of institutions offering the best financial services for Polish millionaires and their families. The private banking offer of Citigold Private Client was on the podium in as many as 14 out of 17 categories surveyed in areas such as service quality, investment consulting, wealth management, global banking, asset succession, offer for clients from the HNWI group.

  Citi Handlowy confirmed its leadership position on the demanding capital market and once again received the award for the highest turnover on the Treasury BondSpot Poland cash market (Treasury Bonds).

• Citi honored with an award from the Mayor of Olsztyn

  Citi, one of the largest employers in Olsztyn, has been awarded the St James Statuette in the Economy category for 2021 by the mayor of the city. The award was given in recognition of the company's commitment to the economic development of the city, stemming the significant rise in unemployment in the region during the pandemic, as well as for its work in the local community. The trust that Citi has placed in the City of Olsztyn was also appreciated. Award of the Mayor of Olsztyn, the "'St James Statuette", is the most important award given by the city and the Mayor. Awards are presented in the fields of culture, science, sport, economy, non-governmental activities and for special merits for Olsztyn.

  Transaction banking of Citi Handlowy topped the prestigious ranking of the Euromoney magazine again. In 2021, the votes of its clients elevated Citi Handlowy to the first place in both categories: "Market Leader" and "Best Service".

• Diversity IN Check: Citi in Polsce among employers with the most advanced diversity policy

  Diversity IN Check: Citi in Poland (Citi Handlowy and Citibank Europe plc) was recognized on the 1 list of the employers most advanced diversity management policies in Poland prepared by the Forum of the Responsible Business. Citi presence on the list speaks to the high level of our maturity in creating an inclusive workplace that is open to diversity. It is also yet another ranking confirming the great dedication to building an organization where everyone can be themselves and where differences are something that unites, and not divides us.

• Citi Handlowy again named "SuperEthical Company"

  In a Puls Biznesu survey of corporate operating standards, Citi Handlowy has confirmed its consistent adherence to the highest ethical requirements. The Bank has been regularly awarded in the competition since its beginning. Citi Handlowy has retained the title of the "SuperEthical Company", which is conferred every three years. It is the only bank among only nine laureates awarded in this year's survey and one of two banks entitled to use this prestigious title.

• First place in the "Socially Sensitive Bank" category in the 12th edition of the Golden Banker ranking organized by "Puls Biznesu" and Bankier.pl

  Together with the Citi Handlowy Foundation, the bank was also named a "socially sensitive bank" for its #SilentHeroes campaign, a title that is very important and meaningful during the challenging time of the pandemic. These intervention activities are organized by 2,000 volunteers from Citi in Poland. They are a series of initiatives developed overnight to address the needs of the groups most affected by the pandemic. Healthcare professionals received nationally innovative medical equipment – mobile ultrasound devices and respirators, video laryngoscopes, PPE for doctors and training in using the new equipment. 7 ambulances were thus additionally equipped. During the first weeks of lockdown, volunteers prepared over 8,300 meals for the paramedics in Warsaw and Olsztyn to help them get through the most difficult time of chaos. Moreover, over 100 computers were donated to children to help them with remote education, while over 1,000 packages with basic necessities were delivered to the elderly.

• 6th consecutive Golden Banker for the Citi Handlowy Credit Card in the 12th edition of the Golden Banker ranking organized by "Puls Biznesu" and Bankier.pl

  For the sixth time, the Citi Handlowy credit card has won the Golden Banker ranking as the best product on the market in its category, thus confirming its position as a market leader. The Citibank-BP Motocard Credit Card was awarded for "zero issuance, renewal and maintenance fee, as well as access to a high limit and one of the market's longest interest-free periods," reads the justification.

• Citi Handlowy named Poland's best investment bank according to Euromoney

  The British magazine Euromoney named Citi Handlowy "The Best Investment Bank in Poland" in the year 2020 in the prestigious Euromoney's Awards for Excellence. Last year, the bank in cooperation with Citi supported Polish enterprises in the largest international M&A transactions.

• Medals of NBP and ZBP for the 150th anniversary of Citi Handlowy

  During a virtual gala, presidents of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) and the Polish Bank Association (ZBP) presented merit medals for supporting the development of banking in Poland to 100 employees of Citi Handlowy. The awards for the employees were the culmination of the "150 years of progress" – celebrations of the anniversary of the oldest Polish commercial bank. 25 employees of Citi Handlowy received honorary badges of the National Bank of Poland, while 75 employees received medals of the Polish Bank Association. These are representatives of consumer, corporate and transactional banking, as well as employees of the risk and finance departments, support sectors and the Citi Handlowy Foundation.

• Citi Handlowy tops rankings of Cash Management in Poland, for the seventh time

  Citi Handlowy was yet again named the "Market Leader" of transactional banking in the category of cash management of corporate clients in a prestigious Euromoney Cash Management Survey for 2020. The bank celebrated the title of the market leader, obtained for the seventh consecutive time, in a special way. For the 150th anniversary of the bank's existence and during the ongoing pandemic, the bank decided to financially support the #SilentHeroes campaign, which focuses, among others, on helping paramedics. Citi Handlowy funded a portable ultrasound device to equip an ambulance.
