Entrepreneurship Development Program - a chance for development for young entrepreneurs
Do you dream of having your own business, but don't know where to start? The Entrepreneurship Development Program is a nationwide initiative of the THINK! Foundation, which supports young people aged 18-35 in developing key business skills and gaining experience in the labor market. This program, financed by the Citi Foundation and substantively supported by the Citi Handlowy Foundation, is aimed at people who have an idea for a business or are at the beginning of their career. Subsequent editions of the Entrepreneurship Development Program have been organized since 2017.
Participants’ successes
Last year, as many as 700 people took part in PRP activities, 80% of whom were people aged 18-30. Importantly, half of the participants are women. Thanks to this year's edition, it was possible to create 20 new companies and 25 new jobs, as well as support the development of 40 existing enterprises. These effects would not have been possible without the involvement of participants and partners of the program.
Mentoring, workshops and new skills
The PRP program is more than just a theory – it is a practical help in business development. Thanks to individual mentoring, which was used by 20 entrepreneurs in the 23/24 edition, young entrepreneurs could learn from experienced practitioners. Competence development was not forgotten either – 450 people took part in 60 online workshops and webinars, gaining knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and ESG.
#CitiVolunteers – mentoring with passion
One of the distinguishing features of PRP is direct support from mentors. This role is played by #CitiVolunteers who help young entrepreneurs take their first steps in the business world. Thanks to their experience, program participants not only develop their companies, but also gain confidence and practical knowledge. Citi Alumni were also involved in sharing knowledge and professional experience, taking part in meetings with program participants.
Online platform
PRP is not limited to live meetings – its key element is the Rozwijamy.edu.pl platform, which in 2023 gathered nearly 25 thousand unique users. Conferences, business meetings (offline and online) and numerous consultations are also organized, which enable young entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and gain new contacts.
The PRP program gives young people a real chance to set up and develop their own business, providing comprehensive support at every stage. With the help of experts and mentors who share their knowledge, young entrepreneurs gain tools that allow them not only to survive, but also to grow their businesses in difficult, changing market conditions.
