Having had the experience of working for Citi in various countries in Central and Eastern Europe, I really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of Citi Handlowy. The last two years have been extremely enriching in terms of learning opportunities: from the structure and the way the bank operates, through building competitiveness in the market and creating tailored solutions for customers, to the commitment of people and their sincere desire to work at the highest level. Thanks to the openness of all partners I came in contact with, it has been an easy and enjoyable experience. From a personal perspective – Poland’s history and culture are so rich that they give constant pleasure of discovering new places or facts about the country. Within the last 10 years, since I first visited Warsaw and Poland, the country has developed in an absolutely impressive way, and I am extremely happy to live here.

Citi Handlowy employees and the Poles we meet are extremely friendly and interested in making our time in Poland special. The people, food, technology, history and location have made Poland one of the easiest places for us to settle and one of the most pleasant places to work and live. Citi Handlowy has implemented many initiatives to help employees, one of which is Beyond the Borders, which I am fortunate enough to hold my patronage over. This project aims to foster ideas, experiences and a culture of diversity within the bank, as well as globally, and expand the bank’s pool of committed ambassadors. Working at Citi Handlowy and in Poland will undoubtedly enrich your CV, especially as the atmosphere and diversity here are quite unique. What is more, you can live in one of the most beautiful and financially accessible countries in Europe.

The best thing about working for Citi Handlowy in Olsztyn is the location. The favorable environmental situation in the city, the absence of industrial air pollution producers and the wonderful nature make this place attractive for families with children like mine. It gives me the opportunity to keep in constant contact with nature, which further inspires me during the difficult times of remote work.

It has been a year since I started working at Citi Handlowy and it has been an exciting journey so far. My managers and colleagues were instrumental in ensuring my smooth relocation to Poland and taking over my day-to-day job responsibilities. I have a work-life balance here. I have the opportunity to lead a safe and affordable life. I have had the opportunity to visit fascinating castles, exciting museums and unique attractions. The Poles are friendly and hospitable. I love living and working in this beautiful country!

It has already been three years since I came to Poland. What I find most captivating about this country is its cultural heritage, weather, the friendly people and beautiful landscapes. I love working at Citi Handlowy because of the flexible hours, organizational culture, global brand and supportive team.

Working at Citi Handlowy Bank in Poland has been a great adventure from the beginning. My team supports many international companies operating in Poland. We are able to provide them with differentiated solutions with the support of our colleagues from around the world – from day-to-day operations to strategic discussions. My coworkers are very welcoming and open. Moreover, thanks to favorable living conditions and social support, it is convenient to start a family in Warsaw (Poland).

What I appreciate most at Citi Handlowy and in Poland is the warm and helpful attitude of the people – they are very cheerful and even greet strangers with a smile and a good morning (which to me was a pleasant surprise). Citi Handlowy is a great place to work with its excellent organizational culture and talented people, but what I appreciate most is the fact that the bank actively works for the community by undertaking numerous initiatives in this area.

The three aspects that, in my opinion, best describe working at Citi Handlowy are: great people, no routine and constant development. They are all equally important to me and together they make the experience so special. Of course, life is not only work and in terms of leisure activities Poland is a hidden gem of Europe. Less popular than other EU countries, but not inferior to them culturally, historically or in any other terms.
