We increase the chances of young people on the employment market – Global Innovation Challenge 2025

Citi Foundation announces the next edition of the Global Innovation Challenge 2025 competition for projects supporting the increase of employment among young people.

50 community organizations will receive $25 million building on over a decade of Citi Foundation investment in youth.

In Poland, over the last 10 years, the Citi Foundation invested over $X million in programs supporting the development of young people. Globally, more than one million young people have received support under the Pathways to Progress initiative. A total of USD 300 million was allocated to non-governmental organizations from all over the world for the implementation of innovative programs.

Young people around the world continue to face job searches, including skills mismatches and access to quality jobs. The International Labour Organization indicates that 65 million young people in the world are unemployed.

The third edition of the Global Innovation Challenge is a chance for NGOs to receive $500,000 of catalytic funding for innovative employment solutions for low-income youth. So far, two organizations from Polish have received a total of one million dollars for their projects. Citi Foundation supported the projects aimed at increasing food security by Food Bank in Olsztyn and counteracting homelessness run by Polish Center for International Aid.
