Citi in Poland has become the title partner of the first race in Olsztyn featuring a route that runs through the city's main streets, passing the Olsztyn Town Hall and the High Gate. The start and finish lines for this unique event will be located on the shores of Lake Ukiel.

One loop, one city, zero boredom

This year’s edition takes place on August 29, with participants competing in two distances: 5 km (the "Afternoon Five," starting at 6:00 PM) and 10 km (the "Evening Ten," starting at 7:00 PM).

• 10 KM ROUTE – SUNSET RUN – starts at 7:00 PM from the CRS Ukiel beach and heads into the heart of the city. The route runs through the Grunwaldzka district, then climbs toward the City Center. It continues through Podgrodzie, loops back via Grunwaldzka, and heads straight to the finish line at the CRS Ukiel beach, where a finisher zone featuring lighting effects and various attractions awaits.
• 5 KM ROUTE - starts at 6:00 PM, also from CRS Ukiel. The 5 km route runs within the main 10 km course. It is fast, straightforward, and PZLA-certified—perfect as a warm-up or as a goal in itself!

Running for children with disabilities

Live Well at Citi team—comprising employees from Citi Handlowy and Citi Solutions Center—will be competing in the Citi Ukiel Sunset Run 2026 Olsztyn. The "Blue T-Shirts" team participates in running initiatives throughout the year and advocates for better access to sports training for children with disabilities, acting as a partner to the Polish Paralympic Committee.

Citi in Olsztyn: Supporting Education and Regional Development

As one of the largest employers in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Citi is consistently committed to supporting local communities:

- it collaborates with the University of Warmia and Mazury on development programs and dual-study courses;
- in 2024 the Citi Foundation invested $0.5 million in a social program implemented by the Food Bank in Olsztyn to develop food security initiatives in the region;
- Citi is a long-standing partner of the “Gazeta Olsztyńska” polebiscite recognizing the region's most popular athletes and para-athletes, and is actively involved in initiatives promoting women's development through the BabaForFest festival;
- Citi volunteers have long served the local community; this year, for instance, they worked to protect the European pond turtle habitat at the Baranowo Masurian Turtle Sanctuary, supporting local ecosystem conservation.

In 2024, Citi received the Diamond Laurel from the Marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship—awarded to the region's most committed ambassador—as well as the *Gazeta Olsztyńska* "Employer of the Year" title.

Citi operates in over 160 countries and employs more than 9,000 people in Poland. An operations center has been active in Olsztyn since 2000, followed by the launch of the Citi Solutions Center—a business services hub—in 2005.
