WARTA Your Plan for the Future is individual life insurance endowment plan provided by Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie WARTA S.A. (hereinafter: Warta TUnŻ S.A.).

Insurance coverage under the WARTA Plan na Przyszłość insurance is provided by Warta TUnŻ S.A.

The WARTA Plan for the Future insurance contract is concluded by the Client with the insurer through the Bank.

The Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw at 16 Senatorska Street acts as an insurance agent performing agency activities for the following insurance companies:

  • MetLife Europe Insurance Designated Activity Company,
  • Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji Warta S.A.,
  • Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie Warta S.A.,
  • Europ Assistance SA - oddział w Irlandii,
  • Nationale-Nederlanden Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie Spółka Akcyjna,
  • Aegon Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie Spółka Akcyjna.

The Bank is entered under number 11120807/A in the register of insurance agents kept by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

The Client has the possibility to check the Bank's entry in this register via the website: https://rpu.knf.gov.pl/.

In the sales and service processes of savings insurance, the Bank applies the principles set out in the "Recommendation on good practices on the Polish bancassurance market in the field of insurance with a savings or investment element" issued by the Polish Bank Association.

Funds paid as a premium under the WARTA Plan na Przyszłość insurance are not a bank deposit, they are not guaranteed by the State Treasury or any government institutions, with the proviso that receivables arising from the life insurance contract are guaranteed by the Insurance Guarantee Fund in the event of the Insurer's insolvency in the amount of 50% of the receivables of persons entitled under the insurance contract, but up to the amount not greater than the equivalent in PLN – EUR 30 000.00.

WARTA Plan for the Future insurance is not a liability or guaranteed by the Bank or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries. Achieving profits is not guaranteed by both the Bank and the insurer.

The Bank carries out the processing of your personal data first of all to initiate activities to enter into an agreement between you and the Bank, including marketing involving the Bank’s products and services and similar products and services offered by the Bank’s partners, and presentation of an offer, i.e. in the Bank’s or Bank’s partners’ legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR). You are entitled to: access your personal data, rectify them, erase them, restrict their processing, transfer your data and object to their processing.   • Withdrawal and Termination of the Insurance Contract

    You may withdraw from the contract within 30 days following the date of signing the contract. You may also terminate the contract a tany time of the insurance contract term.

  • Questions and complaints

    Complaints may be submitted:

    at TUnŻ "WARTA" S.A.:

    • in writing: to the following address: PO box 1013, 00-950 Warszawa 1;
    • in writing to the electronic delivery address, from the date of entering this address in the database of electronic addressees (the address will be placed on the website www.warta.pl/reklamacje immediately after entering it in the database of electronic addresses);
    • electronically using the form www.warta.pl/reklamacje;
    • by phone at 502 308 308 (call cost according to the operator's tariff);
    • in each unit of TUnŻ "WARTA" S.A., in writing delivered in person or orally for the record;

    in the bank:

    • in writing - submitted in person at the Bank's Branch during the Branch's opening hours, or sent to the following address: Citi Handlowy, Department of Customer Complaints and Inquiries, ul. Goleszowska 6, 01-249 Warszawa;
    • orally - by phone or in person for the record during the Customer's visit to the Bank's branch;
    • electronically - to the Bank's e-mail address, via Citibank Online after logging in in the "Contact with the bank" tab or to the AE Bank electronic delivery address: PL-51087-16873-WFBWS-31, entered into the address of electronic database.
  • Payout of Benefits

    If the insured event occurs, the entitled individual shall apply for the payout of the benefit directly to the Insurer. To do this, you should fill out the form provided to you by your Relationship Manager or the Insurer - at any branch or on www.warta.pl.

    The application form is considered submitted once it has been received by the Insurer. For more details on the submission of the benefit payout application and the benefit payout by the Insurer, please read the Insurance General Terms and Conditions or visit www.warta.pl.
