New Release of Citibank Online
On September 6, 2010, Citi Handlowy launched a new Citibank Online
transaction service platform for its retail clients. A new layout, new
functionalities and a clear and intuitive navigation system are sure to make
Citibank Online not only a transaction platform for Citi Handlowy clients but also a
place where you can manage your household finances.
New Citibank
Online improves ergonomics and intuitiveness of the system, but most of all it upgrades
several new functionalities. The system now includes “the Credit Card Expense Manager,”
which enables you to make a list of all planned expenses as well as compare your credit
card operations with transactions of other persons. Client’s Calendar is another new
functionality which includes information on important dates related to Citi Handlowy
products. By reminding you of credit deadlines, due dates for deposits or fixed payment
orders, Citibank Online becomes a center of household budget management.
For
clients for whom fast and easy service is the most important aspect of online banking,
the Bank launched “Fast Navigating System” and “My favorite transfers.” The first
service can link you to key Citibank Online functionalities. Additionally, internet
banking users under “My shorts” bookmark can save the most frequently searched links,
e.g., “transfer.”
“My favorite transfers” is an internet feature enabling clients
to create a personal list of transfers with default amount and source account
number.
As part of Citibank Online, each client is assigned with a special e-mail
box for communicating with the Bank. They may receive important banking information and
news on brand-new products. Clients may use their e-mail box also for lodging complaints
or asking questions concerning Citi Handlowy Internet Banking.
Citi Handlowy has
been named the best internet bank by BANK Financial Monthly. Held for the fifteenth
time, the ranking of the 50 top banks in Poland is prepared based on the financial data
provided by financial institutions.
The methodology of internet bank assessment
was based on the absolute number of internet accounts served, their growth dynamics and
the share of internet accounts in the total number of Citi Handlowy accounts. With more
than 530,000 internet banking users in 2009 up from 330,000 in 2008, Citi Handlowy won
first place in the ranking of the banks offering internet access to accounts.
