Citi Handlowy in the 500+ Programme

Citi Handlowy is one of the banks that decided to offer their services in handling Family 500+ Programme applications. 17 banks announced today that they will offer the possibility to submit the applications using the electronic banking system.

The agreement with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy was signed at the premises of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The event was attended by Prime Minister Beata Szydło, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Elżbieta Rafalska and Minister of Digital Affairs Anna Streżyńska. The 500+ Programme will be launched on 1 April. Applications can be submitted as of that date.

Our decision to participate in the Family 500+ Programme shows how we perceive our role in the economy. We offer financial services to our clients in a responsible manner. We want to help them develop, at the same time positively affecting economic growth. This is why we decided to join the banks that will provide their clients with a convenient and technologically advanced solution for handling 500+ Programme applications. This means that we can again assist our clients with their daily tasks, ensuring security to their funds,” said Sławomir S. Sikora, President of Citi Handlowy.

Thanks to the launch of the banking system for the Family 500+ Programme, clients will be able to file applications online without the need to visit an office. To fill in the application, the client will need to log in to the e-banking system and select the appropriate option. After the application is filled in and sent, it will be transferred to the Emp@tia system, where all applications will be gathered. In the next stage, the client will receive an Official Receipt Confirmation. Subsequently, the central system will transfer the applications to local offices, which will issue decisions.
