Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. informs that on 20 March 2007 the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Bank, pursuant to §14 section 1 of the Bank’s Articles of Association, appointed Ms. Sabine S. Hansen as Member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. for a 3-year term.

Ms. Sabine S. Hansen is Human Resources Head in Citigroup’s Consumer Bank in the EMEA Region, responsible for the Human Resources strategy and its execution in the region with 27 countries employing 30,000 staff.

Ms. Sabine S. Hansen joined Citibank in 1992 as Management Associate. She worked for Citigroup in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Ms. Hansen has a 14-year experience as HR professional including relevant experience of all HR functions, especially in such areas as talent management, mergers and acquisitions as well as international employee relations.

Apart from the experience in financial services, Ms. Hansen also worked for Gate Gourmet – an airline catering company owned by Texas Pacific Group – where she was a member of the divisional executive management team, directly responsible for all Human Resources activities in 14 countries and 58 sites with 13,000 employees.

Ms. Sabine S. Hansen graduated with honors from an MBA program with a major in International Management and Entrepreneurship. She also holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Ms. Sabine S. Hansen is not engaged in any activity that is competitive with Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. and he is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors.
