On 23 May 2007 the Supervisory Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. appointed Mr. Michał H. Mrożek as Vice President of the Management Board of the Bank for another 3-year term.

Michał H. Mrożek holds a master’s degree in international trade & finance from Georgetown University, Washington D.C.

He started his professional career in the New York branch of Bank Austria as a Credit Analyst. Then he joined the Washington-based International Privatization Group of Price Waterhouse (PW). In the years 1992-1995 he was a Manager at the Polish Ministry of Privatization working on a number of privatization initiatives with particular focus on programs such as the Regional Privatization Initiative and the Mass Privatization Program funded by the World Bank, European Union and the EBRD.

In 1995 he joined Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. During where helped set up and in 1997-1998 ran the Corporate Banking Department supporting the marketing and sales activities of this largest Polish corporate bank on the strategic clients portfolio comprised of capital groups and multinationals.

In 1998 he joined Citibank (Poland) S.A. (CPSA) as Senior Banker – Unit Head handling client relationships in the oil and petrochemicals sector. In the years 1998 - 2001 he was Deputy Director of Corporate Banking Division in Citibank (Poland) S.A.

Between July 2002 and July 2003 he held the position of Head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. working closely with all business segments and product areas.

As of April 2004 Michał H. Mrożek has been heading up Commercial Bank Division. As of May 2004 he has been Member of the Management Board of the Bank.

Mr. Michał H. Mrożek is not engaged in any activity that is competitive with Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. and he is not listed in the Register of Insolvent Debtors.
