Legal basis: § 5 section 1 item 19 of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance on current and periodical information provided by issuers of securities dated 19 October 2005 (Journal of Laws of 2005, No. 209, item 1744).

Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. informs that on 20 March 2007 the Supervisory Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. appointed KPMG Audyt Spółka z o.o. with its seat in Warsaw, at 51 Chłodna Street, enrolled on the list of bodies entitled to audit financial statements under the registered number 458, as an external auditor of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie SA financial statements for 2007.
KPMG Audyt Spółka z o.o. has been appointed as the Bank’s external auditor in compliance with the applicable laws and professional standards.
The Bank previously used the services of KPMG Audyt Spółka z o.o. in the scope of audit of annual and semi-annual financial statements, review of semi-annual financial statements and advisory services. 
An agreement with KPMG Audyt Spółka z o.o. is to be concluded for audit and review of financial statements for 2007.
